WonderWorks

There are lots and lots of fun places in Florida, but if we want to travel for another 6 months and not to go bankrupt we have to choose smart what we want to see and what we can afford. Prices of the major attractions - Sea World, Busch Gardens, Universal Studios - are comparable with Disney, and this was quite expensive. Besides we are not huge fans of theme parks and kids are not always enjoying the most expensive places, so sometimes we'd rather go for a cheaper replacement, or just skip some places knowing that somewhere on our road we might see something similar but cheaper (like a ZOO or aquarium).

That's why the other local attraction we went to was an interactive museum WonderWorks. It cost us less than 25 USD per adult, kids  under 4 were free of charge. There were a few "exhibits" dedicated to forces of nature (earthquake and hurricane simulations), a few tricks that used optical illusions Maciek liked a tunnel with stars (that turned around which made you lose balance) and 4D movie, we could walk on ropes, lie on bad of nails (didn't hurt at all) and ride a simulator roallercoaster (Ola hates roallercoasters but liked the simulator so much she took a ride twice).

There was no standing in lines (except for bunch of kids which we managed to avoid pretty well), and seeing the whole thing took us 4 hours. Maybe it was not a first class entertainment but we liked it. And so did Maciek.
